Manchester United are reportedly keen on bringing David Moyes back to Old Trafford given his successes at West Ham.

According to Global 247 News, the Manchester outfit made an approach for Moyes after they announced that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was relieved of his duties.

However, David Sullivan quickly rebuffed that offer and has denied them permission to speak to the Scotsman.

It’s bizarre that the Red Devils want Moyes back now after not trusting him enough when he was at the helm seven years ago.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure, he’s spent the least time on the Old Trafford hot seat and even during his time there, he wasn’t backed enough in the market.

There seems to be no reason why he would even consider leaving West Ham for that job and we doubt that Man United would also be willing to make this move.

They’re linked with managers like Erik ten Hag, Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane – all of whom are at the elite level.

Moyes is overachieving at the Hammers and we’re sure that he’ll have the same kind of pressure-free atmosphere elsewhere.

We don’t think there’s too much to this rumour as it is and it’s obvious that the Manchester club will be linked with every manager under the sun until they find someone.
