West Ham have been tipped to be strong contenders for the top four this season, while David Moyes has been hailed for transforming his career.
The Daily Mail claim that the Irons boss is “back in the big time” after a few jobs in which he struggled, but he has “transformed” his reputation.
They also claim that because of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur’s struggles, the Irons should be able to take full advantage and make a proper push for the Champions League.
Moyes and West Ham are getting the credit they deserve.
Now, last season was good for the Irons as they finished sixth, but with the extra burden of the Europa League this season, you would be forgiven for thinking that they might not be able to cope.
However, they have performed brilliantly in all three competitions this time around, and you would say they have a good chance of winning a trophy this season.
The Hammers sit in fourth place in the Premier League and are top of their Europa League group, and they face Spurs in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
So, it has been an incredible start to the season, and we see no reason why they can’t make a proper Champions League push.
Now, if they were to make it into UEFA’s premier competition, you wouldn’t imagine that Declan Rice would be that keen to leave anymore [talkSPORT].
So, there is an extra incentive to make it into the Champions League this year if they need any extra motivation, of course.
In other West Ham news, a BBC pundit was blown away by one Irons man against Aston Villa.
