Roy Keane has revealed that he ‘likes the look of’ West Ham this season and has hailed the ‘brilliant’ job that David Moyes is doing.
The Hammers currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League this season, just four points behind Arsenal with a game in hand.
They have also progressed through to the Europa League knockout rounds as group winners after four wins from the six group games they played in.
After receiving praise for their performances this season, Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has chipped in with his two cents too and admitted that he is a fan of what they’re doing currently.
While speaking to Micah Richards on Sky Bet’s YouTube channel, Keane praised Moyes and the squad for their performances so far.
“Brilliant,” he said. “I like the look of West Ham.
“I think David Moyes has done a brilliant job there. They’ve got good players, good experienced players, bit of everything.
“They’ve had a little sticky patch but they’ve got European competition, that can take its demands into the new year but I like the look of West Ham.”
West Ham have been the latest team to crash the ‘big six’ party and they completely deserve their place in the league table so far.
Moyes has put together a squad hungry to succeed and willing to learn and give everything to win, which has seen them deliver some excellent results including being the only team to beat Liverpool this season.
The manager has got his trusted soldiers in the first team but all of the squad know that they must perform or there is someone else waiting to take their spot in the side.
He has recruited well and with European football, they have dealt with it well.
If the club can continue in that direction during the upcoming January transfer window then there is no reason why the Hammers couldn’t be playing Champions League football next season.
