West Ham are aware that Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool are keen on attacker Jarrod Bowen, according to Claret and Hugh.

However, the Hammers are unwilling to let the Englishman leave in January.

For them to consider his sale in this window, a ‘monumental’ bid will have to be tabled.

Good news

It will be tempting for any player to consider moving to Liverpool and Manchester City, given their riches and standing in European football.

They’re two of the best teams in the Premier League and regularly compete in the Champions League and are among the favourites to win that trophy every season.

However, the Hammers have him tied up to a contract until the summer of 2025 and are under no pressure to cash in on him in January.

With four years left on his deal, they’re in a position to demand a mouth-watering fee that could see Liverpool and City cool their interest in him.

That will also be a welcome boost to Daniel Kretinsky who will have invested in the club in a bid to help take them to the next level.

The sale of players like Bowen is clearly a step backwards and he will surely not be open to that idea.
