Declan Rice has taken to Twitter to share his reaction after West Ham won 2-0 against Norwich City in the Premier League clash on Wednesday night.

Jarrod Bowen scored twice on either half to seal all three points for the Hammers as they jumped to fourth in the league table.

It was a dominating performance from the home side, and they could have easily scored five or six goals had they taken their chances.

Rice feels that the victory is another step in the right direction, and has praised Bowen for his performance. He tweeted:

“Another top performance and win. Heading in the right direction! Jarred is on fire. Let’s keep pushing!”

Brilliant Bowen

Bowen has been in sensational form in recent months, and Tony Cottee has suggested that he should be included in the England squad.

The 25-year-old has now contributed towards a goal in all but one of his last seven games and has been the central driving force of the team alongside Rice.

David Moyes has showered heaps of praise on Bowen after the game, and he deserves it.

Bowen could have scored three or four goals alone, as he managed to hit the woodwork twice during the game.

After a poor run of form in the month of December, it seems
the Hammers are back to their old best.

They have now picked up four wins in all competitions,
including three wins in a row in the Premier League.

Despite the positivity, Moyes should be looking to bolster the squad this month, with signing a striker and a central defender being a top priority.
