Massive game

West Ham
have done incredibly well to reach the quarter-final stages of this
competition, and the Hammers must aim to win the trophy this time.

It won’t be a piece of cake though with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool being still alive in the competition. However, for the first time in four years, we will have a new champion, after the Hammers knocked Manchester City out in their previous EFL Cup game.

Having now
beaten both the Manchester clubs, West Ham must take this competition
seriously. They will face Spurs, and it promises to be a cracking contest.

At the moment, West Ham are doing great under David Moyes, and it will be crucial for them to keep this momentum after the November international break.

They are most likely to qualify for the knock-out rounds of the Europa League. However, they have some tough games lined up against Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal in the league prior to the Carabao Cup clash.

Also, Spurs, who have struggled under Nuno Espirito Santo, could be a rejuvenated team under Antonio Conte. The Italian is a proven winner, and he would love to win a trophy in his first season at the club.

In other West Ham news, the Irons want to sign this ‘Brilliant’ £25.3m South-American centre-mid who won a big 2021 cup.
