West Ham target Jesse Lingard is not a part of Manchester United’s matchday squad for the Crystal Palace clash, according to Manchester Evening News.

New manager Ralf Rangnick will take charge of his first game and does not seem to favour the 28-year-old.

The Hammers have been linked with a move for his services, and ExWHUemployee claims that they will open talks early with him ahead of a January move.

Goodbye Man United?

Whenever new managers walk through the door, there always are players that they fancy and ones they don’t.

While nothing has been made official, the early signs are that Lingard does not appear to be part of his plans.

The MEN report has included fringe players like Phil Jones and Anthony Elanga, but there is no mention of Lingard.

He also does not seem to be injured as something would have definitely shown up in case he was.

Hopefully, this is the final straw in his Old Trafford career and he makes his mind up for once to leave for good.

West Ham look to be extremely keen on signing him and they should look to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.

David Moyes is also a fan of the player and has labelled him “incredible” in October 2021.

In other West Ham news, ExWHUemployee has issued a major update on Zouma & Johnson’s injuries and has shared a timeline for the latter’s return
