Ian Dowie has backed West Ham to beat Dinamo Zagreb in their final Europa League game.
Speaking to Betfred, the former Sky pundit can see David Moyes making a lot of changes, although maybe not as many as some are expecting.
The Hammers fan also believes that the game will be relatively comfortable for the Irons.
He said: “It would be madness.
“He won’t make wholesale changes, the squad isn’t big enough for that, but certainly, I expect a lot of changes. Why wouldn’t he?
“I think West Ham will win and win comfortably. There could be a goal for Zagreb, but for me, West Ham to win.”
Dowie predicting an easy game.
The only problem the Irons might have is that they have a lot of injury problems at the back, and they have to find a way to deal with those.
They only have one senior centre-back fit, so you would think that the Croatian side could exploit those issues and score at least one goal.
However, this match is a huge chance for many of the youth players to show a packed London Stadium what they are about.
You would think David Moyes will still play plenty of senior players to help guide the young lads through the match.
However, even with the senior players involved, we aren’t convinced that this is going to be a comfortable game.
Zagreb are still a good team, and they will want to end the campaign with a win, so though we are looking forward to seeing how the Irons do, we can’t see this being an easy match.
In other West Ham news, the Irons are set to launch a loan move for a Serie A defender.
