Trevor Sinclair has showered heaps of praise on West Ham defender Ben Johnson on talkSPORT.
The Hammers knocked out holders Manchester City in the Carabao Cup clash on Wednesday to reach the quarter-final stages of the competition.
After a pulsating 0-0 draw in normal time, West Ham won 5-3 on penalties, with Said Benrahma scoring the winning goal.
Pep Guardiola hailed David Moyes as a “fantastic” manager, and talkSPORT pundit Trevor Sinclair has suggested that the Hammers are a well-rounded team after they knocked out both the Manchester clubs.
He has reserved special praise on young Johnson, saying he was “brilliant” during the game. He was impressed with his decision making and fearless attitude.
“I thought Ben Johnson was MOTM last night. He’s brilliant,” said Sinclair.
“He has got that knack of just getting in there in time, before they pull a trigger and got a shot off, and that’s a great attribute to have as a defender.”

establishing himself as a dependable player for Moyes.
Declan Rice praised him heavily on Twitter after the game. He was superb against Raheem Sterling on the right-hand side and kept the Englishman in check.
He has got
big potential and Moyes is using him very well. Against Man City, who are
arguably the best team in the country, he was simply flawless.
The Hammers are enjoying a great spell under Moyes, and there is an atmosphere of positivity all around.
They are riding high on momentum now. Last week, they defeated London rivals Tottenham to move into the top four of the league, and they followed it up with another fantastic result in midweek. They are also close to reaching the knock-out stages of the Europa League.
