Manchester United News

Manchester United star Paul Pogba is yet to decide whether his future lies with Manchester United, preferring to see if a new manager will be appointed.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and talks over a new deal have not yet progressed. However, it is believed that talks were held.

Pogba, apparently didn’t reject the club’s last offer but also didn’t accept it, with United feeling that he was playing for time in order to leave for free at the end of the season.

How Pogba Is Rumoured To Feel About Manchester United’s Season

The World Cup winner is seemingly planning for a future away from United by taking a swipe at Ralf Rangnick and revealing how he felt the season has gone. He said:

‘You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me – really not at all…This year it is dead, we won’t win anything. Whether it is with Manchester United or at another club, I want to win trophies….It’s simple with France, I play and I play in my position – I know my role and I feel the confidence of the coach and the players.’

Among many revealing comments of late, the superstar revealed that Mourinho’s tenure at United left him ‘depressed’, and now has gone on to express his opinion that United are drifting. All of this will alert the likes of PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich who are reportedly keen on signing the star on a ‘Free’. Despite the noise, United have not yet given up hope of keeping him at Old Trafford. And now, Pogba has added some credibility to those feelings by reports saying that he is reportedly waiting on the club to appoint a new manager and he will speak to the new appointee before deciding his future.

United are reportedly deciding between Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino, with ten Hag having impressed during an interview earlier this week.

Both managers are likely to employ a 4-3-3 system and an attacking brand of football, which would suit Pogba.
