West Ham fans have flocked to a post on the West Ham Zone Facebook page about Daniel Kretinsky’s recent comments on January transfer plans.

The Czech business has delivered his long-term vision for the Hammers in an exclusive column for the Evening Standard.

He has been left impressed with the work David Moyes has been doing at the club and feels that no big changes are required.

He
has proposed the structure of gradual evolution, and wants to tackle other major
financial issues like reducing the debt.

He
has suggested that the club may not need to spend big in the January window,
and it seems, the fans agree with him.

This is how West Ham fans are reacting:

To be fair, Moyes has a brilliant squad at his disposal and he doesn’t need to make big changes in January.

At the same time, West Ham are pushing hard to break into the top four this season, and Kretinsky must help Moyes with transfer funds to plug the necessary holes.

Signing
a central defender is a top priority. Angelo Ogbonna is injured for the rest of
the season, and Moyes needs to sign an experienced defender, even on a
temporary deal to fill the void.

Similarly,
there is a dearth of strikers at the club. Michail Antonio remains the lone
striker, and a player of similar ilk is required.

It
will be too much of a risk to continue the entire season without making these
necessary additions, especially now when the Hammers are in the knock-out
stages of the Europa League as well.

It’s going to be a long season, and they need depth in their squad.

In other West Ham news, Vladimir Coufal has shared his reaction to the win on Thursday night.
