Every week we’ll be asking West Ham fans on Twitter and Facebook for questions that will be answered by our correspondent, Jack Cunningham. You can join in by liking West Ham Zone on Facebook and watching out for weekly mailbag posts.

West Ham are currently competing on three fronts, and that could become four if they get through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

The Hammers have had a strong start to the season but have struggled in recent weeks in the Premier League, and they appear to be fading.

However, with the Europa League, FA Cup and potentially Carabao Cup to come in 2022, there is still plenty to play for.

With that in mind, we asked for your burning questions on all things West Ham for our West Ham Zone correspondent Jack Cunningham to answer, and one fan wanted to know which competition his team would prioritise.

This is a great question, Francis.

Certainly, the Europa League represents a great chance for the Irons to win a major trophy and secure a Champions League place.

The draw hasn’t been made yet but the Hammers could face a variety of teams

Now, it won’t be easy, but by the time that match comes around, the Hammers should have strengthened their squad and be ready to take on the second half of the season.

Now, before that match, the Hammers have the quarter-final and potentially the semi-final of the Carabao Cup to play, so they could be in the final [Sky Sports].

If that were the case, then you would think David Moyes would target that competition instead.

However, the Europa League represents a superb chance for the Irons to prove to the rest of Europe just how good they are, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Hammers really go for that competition.

Therefore, Francis, I believe that Moyes will be looking to win the Europa League, and the Hammers can beat any side on their day, so it is certainly possible.

In other West Ham news, Tony Cottee has set his dream transfer window for the Hammers.
