West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko has welcomed fellow Ukraine star Vitaliy Mykolenko to the Premier League following his Everton move.
The West Ham star has been pictured in a screenshot on the Instagram account of the duo’s agent, Vadim Shablii.
Yarmolenko plays with the new Everton recruit at international level for Ukraine and assisted a goal for the West Ham star as Ukraine beat Portugal in 2019.
The left-back’s move to Everton from Dynamo Kiev was confirmed today with the player’s collective agents keen to make Mykolenko feel comfortable in England.
Yarmolenko’s role as one of Ukraine’s most experienced players will surely give Mykolenko a boost as he moves to a brand new country to embark on the next chapter of his footballing career. West Ham’s star has also captained his national team a number of times over the last few years.
The 22-year-old full-back’s move to Goodison had been touted for some time but was confirmed officially by the club this morning.
Yarmolenko has been in England since 2018 so his knowledge of the Premier League is superb. This will surely be a massive help to Mykolenko.
The winger has appeared 55 times in the league for West Ham, scoring seven goals in the process. Yarmolenko scored his first two Premier League goals against Mykolenko’s side in Everton’s first victory of the 2018-19 campaign.
Everton manager Rafa Benítez will surely appreciate Yarmolenko’s help as he assists in bedding in a bright young Ukrainian talent in the Premier League.
