Michail Antonio enjoyed a brilliant time on international duty when he scored two breathtaking goals in the space of four days.

Although
Jamaica managed 1-1 draws in both the games, the Hammers striker impressed on an
individual level.

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that he single-handedly kept his nation’s hopes alive, with Jamaica’s World Cup qualification hopes hanging in balance.

West Ham
will resume their Premier League campaign this weekend with a trip to Molineux.

The club’s co-chairman David Sullivan decided to organise a private jet for the striker to return from Jamaica to London on Wednesday.

“It has been a pleasure Jamaica, I have enjoyed every minute of it but it is time to get home back to the West Ham,” Antonio said (IG story via West Ham Now)

“I would like to thank David Sullivan for sorting this out [the private plane] so I can get back earlier and prepare right for the game on Saturday.”

Brilliant move

Antonio has been simply outstanding this season for the Hammers. He is the club’s lone striker and top scorer, and David Moyes has used him intelligently.

West Ham are flying at the moment, and Moyes needs Antonio to be on top of his game against Wolves. He can now return quickly and can resume training from Thursday.

Antonio has a poor track record of picking up injuries. The supporters were worried about the club’s decision to send him for international duty, with so many vital games coming up. However, it seems, he will be fit for the Premier League clash against Wolves.

The striker
scored a fantastic goal against El Salvador where he finished off a great move
with a superb dink over the onrushing keeper.

Against the
US, he smashed a 30-yard screamer beyond the goalkeeper.

West Ham are currently third in the Premier League table. While pundits don’t expect us to challenge for the title, but the fourth spot is definitely up for grabs.
