West Ham are expected to make four changes for their Premier League clash against Southampton at the London Stadium this weekend.

The Hammers were beaten in an entertaining game against Tottenham in midweek that saw them crash out of the Carabao Cup at the quarter-final stage, meaning they have won just once in their last seven games.

As the Irons look to get back on track, David Moyes will name the strongest side he can to get all three points which means we’re likely to see changes to the team.

Lukasz Fabianski is likely to return in goal having started every Premier League game so far this season.

In defence Vladimir Coufal is likely to return after serving his suspension in midweek, which should see Ben Johnson switch back to left-back in place of Arthur Masuaku. Craig Dawson and Issa Diop will continue as the only fit centre-backs.

Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will continue their partnership in the centre of midfield too after good performances against Spurs.

Ahead of them, Jarred Bowen should keep his place after his goal but will likely move back to a wide position with Michail Antonio to return to his usual striker role. Manuel Lanzini will keep his place too, but Pablo Fornals should re-enter the fray in place of Nikola Vlasic.

Antonio had been missing from the midweek game after testing positive for COVID-19, but Moyes revealed he was hopeful of him the ‘beast‘ forward being fit.
