West Ham may find it hard to sign Adama Traore this month.

According to a recent report from The Telegraph, Wolves could consider offers of more than £20 million for the Spaniard.

The Hammers are thought to be considering making a move for him, with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur also keen.

However, according to the latest reports from the Evening Standard, Wolves are not looking to sell him in the middle of the season.

They will demand a significant fee for their “unplayable” winger.

This
makes the situation a bit tricky for David Moyes.

West
Ham need to bolster their forward department and Traore would be a handy
addition.

He
has got blistering pace and loads of Premier League experience. If the price
quoted for him is right, then he should be within West Ham’s affordability as
well.

Traore has improved a lot in recent years. In his earlier days, he was all about pace and skill. Now he has learnt the art of timing his run perfectly, while his decision making in the final third has improved.

At
25, he should be approaching the peak form of his career.

And
there lies the conundrum. In 18 appearances this season, Traore is yet to score
or provide an assist.

David Moyes wants someone who can make an instant impact – these numbers won’t fill him with much confidence.
